Pulsatilla vulgaris - 2014

Our native pasque flower. For free-draining soil in full sun. This is a native on alkali soils, and I have struggled to get it going on my slightly acid soil. It is placed where it can get its roots in the scalping under the drive, in a very stony piece of soil, and has now been growing happily for ten years
