I'm sure they will be ok.There are lots of these in the Valley gardens in Harrogate,and much further north than you..never fail to appear each year..Something to look forward to,I love them..:o)

Gunnera are the big guns of the garden. The old twisted wood monster is wonderful too.

Well we had a surprise this morning but only 0 degrees so not too much damage, they do survive but the leaves are tinged brown for the rest of the year. Glad you like the log, an old tree we felled, thought too nice to cut up for fire wood.
