Mine never seem to have as many flowers as yours Daylily, this looks very pretty:-) Are they vine weevil notches? (shudder) :-)

Hi BA not sure hadn't thought of that thought it was snails or slugs hmm :/

I've just bought some vine weevil killer, almost lost two heucheras again, I don't like to use poison, but it gets a bit cold at night for nematodes and it's an emergency:-I just hope they've been caught in time, heucheras are amazing and usually manage to survive:-)

I haven't got many heucheras and I've lost one this year just dissapeared apart from a little dead bit left in the soil but I've got one plum pudding doing well and 3 marvellous marble seem to be ok :))

Sounds like vineweevil Jane. They don't only attack heucheras in pots. Is the bit left definitely dead? Heucheras have been known to regrow roots with a little tlc. I've planted little stubbs in a pot, no roots, all eaten away, and they've survived and thrived:-)
