Clematis x cartmanii 'Moonbeam' - 2014

Left to its own devices, this clematis makes a tangled mound, but weave it on a trellis to give it support. Not as hardy as some, this variety gets to about six feet. 'Joe' is similar but smaller, while 'Avalanche' makes a bigger plant.

Lovely, Avalanche died a couple of years ago in the very cold weather..
