Thank you very much, Scottish. Yes, Amy sent to me seeds of Meconopsis and of some perennial, but Noris picked all labels last autumn, so I am absolutely lost :-)

There are other species of Meconopsis that are not blue coloured Kat but am unfamiliar with those. Hopefully Amy will see this.

Sorry for the delay we've been away for a few days ,The seedlings are from the Erigeron Karvinskianus seed I sent you Kat not the Meconopsis blue poppies , I transplanted mine into little pots and then last week planted them into the garden any nice sunny spot will do , they grow into nice bushy plants with daisy like flowers and will flower all summer ,I'll look for a photo and then tell you where to find it for you to see ..

The Meconopsis isn't so easy to germinate Kat you may have sown the seed to early, any time now would be a good time with the weather warming up ! did you save some seed left to try again ?

No, I planted them all, but it seems that in one pot the leaves look different, they are round.

Katarina - the leaf is very different to what I know as Blue Poppy, that is Meconopsis, the Himalayan poppy but I do think they are poppies of some sort, if that helps a wee bit.
