I didn't plant this - not sure where it's come from really...! But it comes up every year and is very pretty and most welcome!

That's a pretty shade of pink. It's either Dicentra formosa or D. eximia, if you google, you'll get a better idea comparing the foliage.

I like Dicentra mainly because of the unusual shape of the flowers, I agree with you Bathgate, it is a very attractive little plant.

I love the foliage on these,almost as much as the flowers,Petaltracey..a beautiful plant..

Thank you Bloomer! I agree the foliage is lovely - soft and delicate! I'm sure it has grown thicker this year... It must be due to all the wet weather we've had...;-D

This has always been one of my favorites. Even when not in bloom it's very attractive.
