As I said, I visited Scotland this week. I am now at home, enjoying some warm weather, lol. The weather is really spoiling a lot in such beautiful countryside. My photos were all made in one day, when it was sunny. The whole week was rainy and windy. Gosh, now I understand, why you have so many large rhodies.

Lol! That's life for us Katarina....but last summer was wonderful from June right through to August. That's the best we can hope for! Often, when May is lovely and warm and sunny, then the rest of the summer is foul! So if May is cold like this year, then I start to get hopeful for the summer!

It's such beautiful country, though, isn't it? We had a holiday by Loch lomond a few years ago, with my daughter and her husband.

Yes, hotel facilities around the lake are very beautiful. I liked Cameron house. That was really nice.

Well, that's good to hear Katarina....not all the hotels were poor. Melchi...I think the summer has started now...we had sunshine this afternoon and it's looking better as the week goes on!

Cameron House is very nice indeed. My daughter's father-in-law has a timeshare there, which is where we stayed. We had a couple of lovely trips on the loch. By the way, is that the paddle steamer "Waverley" in your photo?

Melchi, you are technically on a veru high level! I have no idea what those ships were there :-)

Not really, Katarina! "Waverley" is a famous paddle steamer that used to provide trips along the Clyde. I have only seen pictures of it - it looks like the one in your photo, but I may well be quite wrong!

Actually, we paid ahead for such a trip, but our guide brought us to the lake 10 minutes after the boat left. They called her if we come, but she was riding and didn t pick the phone. So we missed the cruise across the lake. Now we are going to ask for money back.

I think it's the weather that makes the countryside - and the contry! swings and roundabouts
