Sadly I think the palm beetle has got to my palm tree while I have been away in Tenerife. A friend has sent me this photo. I'm hoping this is the only casualty I find when I go back.

Yes Janey, I only have one other palm so toes crossed too! We're hoping to go back next week after nearly two years. Hope you're keeping well.

That's a shame Gwen, quite heartbreaking to see it like this. Fingers crossed as you say, this is the only casualty.
