Looks a lovely clump Daylily, these never do very well here but even mine don't look bad this year.

Thanks both, these were originally two clumps from my dads friend, I've had them a while, easiest plant to split too aren't they :))

You fared better than me when I tried to split mine,Daylily..I had planted a small one in a pot, till I decided where to put it,and it made so much growth last year, with no flowers,my OH had to get his brute strength and a big spade,to chop it in half..when we finally got it out of the pot ..one half is doing great, but the other half is still very small,as it mustn't have had much root on it..anyway,it's alive :o)

Hi bloomer oh gosh they do spread/clump up well, maybe cos it was in the pot, usually I put the fork in and a nice clump comes up, I have had mine a good few years :)

It must have been,Daylily, but it was a big pot,and I thought it would be ok,till I decided where to plant it... lesson learned! The others in the borders are much easier to dig up..I was too kind to it really,as it liked it too much :o)
