This has a very short scape. Most of the flower is on the ground, which is not a good trait, so unless it grows up and reblooms, it is one for the compost pile.

It has to the end of summer to grow taller. I don't have the room to keep under-performers. I am already marking those I thought had a chance last year, but are failing and will be removed. If it wasn't too late to transplant, they would already be elsewhere.

Nice! I hope it will perform better next year. I will hate to hear it went to the compost heap!
