New Gunnera manicata-- just planted

I lost my gunnera last winter. It was with us for 10 years. I never protected it before winter and it was always fine until this time . I got new one for Mother's day. This part of property is very wet.
Although, it is commonly called giant (or Brazilian) rhubarb it is not related to Rhubarb (Rheum rhabarbarum)

Hope it will grow into a big plant there Delonix1, Suck all the water from that spot. I think we have an underground spring there.

It loves a lot of water. It should do very well there with a a spring there.

I like this plant when it matures. It has gigantic leaves.
There's many at Strybing Botanical Gardens (now called San Francisco Botanical Gardens) in Golden Gate Park.
