Salvia microphylla 'Hot Lips' - 2014

Evergreen shrub for well-drained soil in full sun. This is probably the hardiest of the shrubby salvias, and came through the winters of 2011 and 2012 for me. Can reach three to four feet, but I cut it back by about half in spring. Flowers are red and white, but the early ones are invariably only red.
