Considered a weed by many I like them and allow them to self seed as the colour variations are interesting.

I've had them in my last three gardens. The seedlings are easily spotted, pricked out and grown on in pots until they flower. I can then keep the better ones - in my last garden I had one with this colour lower petals and an almost gold coloured standard.

We have a friend who specializes in Iris's he sells his spares at our gardening club I have one or two interesting ones i'm looking forward to seeing this year if I can remember where I planted them ....
