Iris foetidissima Citrina

I really like Iris foetissima. There is such a variety of colours in the self seeders.

I got a piece of the blue one from my brother in law's garden recently, but not doing very well as wrong time of year for moving. Might have to scrounge another piece if I can find it. He doesn't know plant's roots from their stems!

It's a nice flower too isn't it, besides the great red autumn seeds.

This clump is in quite a dry shady spot.

That's good then, so many plants like a sunny spot.
