Such a beauty, isn't she.

She is. There was another one at Chelsea....semi double form...I 'think' it was named 'Dancing Swan'. Keep a look out for it, it's a stunner!

Oooh! Is it another Elizabeth McGregor one?
Andrew, I know we often find we have the same plants - but probably in a different combination. Just as well, or our gardens would be 'twins'. LOL.

Anemone hupehensis 'Whirlwind' is supposed to be the best white. Burncoose got a Silver Gilt at Chelsea 2014.

I've got that, S's gran, but it doesn't flower for months like 'Wild Swan' does.

I have 'Wild Swan' and found it much better behaved than the later flowering varieties. It does not creep through every other plant in the border. It does tend to get lost when the other HP's get going.

Whirlwind is lovely, I used to have that one. I wish I had kept the picture I took of the double one B, but it wasn't a great photo...just let me double check that I haven't still got it....and sorry I didn't notice the name of the nursery stand...well, I can't remember it is more accurate!

Found it in my recycling bin...will put it up for you now...

It's well worth having, Dd. Thanks Karen. :-)

'Snap' from me too . . . love it!

It goes on and on flowering, too, Sheila. Well worth a place in the garden! :-)

I agree, Barbara. Such a thrill to see ours in flower now - the foliage is so subtle that I almost forget how early it comes into bloom! It would be good if it spread, but I'm not sure if it does . . . has yours increased at all?

Saw this at the Stanstead Show but I felt that £12.00 was just too much to pay.....will buy one when all the fuss is over.

It wasn't as much as that from the Nursery! I suspect it'll be around more soon after the three years since its 'launch'.

I can wait, everything else was very reasonably priced, so this was a bit of a shock!!

I can imagine. I bought two from Elizabeth McGregor last year and even though I got the larger pots, they were less than £10 each, so 'your' seller is being greedy.
