You are very lucky Andy..after all mine desiccated I thought I had lost the lot, so I took what healthy cuttings I could and have managed to successfully get 4 going.......They are small at the moment, but at least they are alive...........I still cant find out what I did wrong to make them all desiccate though, just so that I can prevent it happening again

When Plumerias are grown in pots they can have problems especially if they're in the same pot for a long time. Did the plants rot or desiccate?

I had problems with a few of my Plumerias desiccating during this past very warm to hot winter. It can be tricky because Plumerias like it dry during winter...if they get too much water they can easily rot especially during cold weather. My plants not only desiccated but they burned from the intense, hot reflected winter sun.

I'm in the process of putting all my large Plumerias into the ground. They'll do so much better.

They definitely desiccated.....I am so very careful during winter to keep them dry as possible and not let the temperature drop below 9 degrees..I did try to get info through Plumeria Uk and their clinic said that the tops had woken before the roots were ready and to put them back into shade to slow them down, but that didn't work..nothing happened. That's why I tried cuttings....I had nothing to loose then. Still 4 is better than none.

Wow! That's horrible! Typically, I only know of them desiccating when they're outside in hot, dry sunny condition. Well, at least you were able to get the cuttings.

Can you plant them into the ground in your greenhouse? They would grow much better if they were in the ground (even in a greenhouse).

It might be worth trying Andy....I will see how they progress through the year......
