My claw flower plants are starting to bloom. Typically in times of extreme drought (like we're experiencing now) it doesn't bloom very well. Photo taken June 2, 2014.

Well, this clump of plants are not looking so well due to the horrible heatwaves we've had in May. I'm going to have to cut most of the leaves off because most were burnt.
