Waterlogged

Homebird, all I can tell you us that it's very heavy clay soil. Just had a look this morning after the thunderstorm, and I have a pond, that doesn't seem to be seeping away. I am so frustrated. I have uploaded a couple of photos.

Homebird, this is not the lowest point in the garden. It's roughly half way down the garden.
My garden slopes toward the bungalow. Strange as it may seem the lowest part doesn't seem to have the problem half as bad.
