Is this that nasty plant that everyone seems to be saying is a such a nuisance??? I thought it looked rather pretty threaded amongst the bright green mock bayleaves

I think folk were talking about bindweed...it is a wild pest especially to farmers as it's roots go so deep and it's not easy to eradicate. The leaves and vines cover things completely and block out the sun that's why it's not popular...but it is quite pretty like it's cultivated cousin...lol.
