An Allium christophii in my garden which is 10" across.

Thanks Homebird, I love growing things from seed. Also I have a leaflet from the RHS about germination requirements for all sorts of seed, eg when to sow, needs light, etc - very useful- unfortunately doesn't give advice on who will look after them when I go away!

Such a shame, have cut off all the seed heads, which are so attractive, as I don't want them self seeding. Have got about 300, 1 year bulbs in a tub aready!
