Indigofera heterantha

Indigofera heterantha (Indigofera heterantha)

I've been growing this for nearly ten years in full sun but on clay and it's embarressingly healthy and strong growing. Never shows any sign of life until mid May but then it's in flower before the end of June. Prune hard like a buddleia when it finally deigns to show green shoots

It looks alot like my indigofera amblyantha shrubs. They start to bloom in late May and bloom continously until the first November freeze. The only down side, is they are a bit stoloniferous, much to the delight of my friends...lol. Who doesn't love free plants !
