Sedum - John Creech

Sedum - John Creech

It finally decided to bloom after 3 years. Nonetheless it's a wonderful ground cover with small scalloped leaves which grow in little rosettes. Will grow anywhere and choke out weeds. On a good year, it will be covered in pinkish-purple flowers early summer. Makes a nice lawn substitute. Low growing, dense spreading tight mat. Easy to propagate and divide - just break off a piece and plant it in moist soil. It likes hot, dry clay or sandy soil.
