Thanks Flcrazy, the woman i bought it from said that it is a new dwarf variety that only grows to approx 18" but my plant was missing a lable, and i can't remeber what she said it was called, its not in any of the books i have, which would make sense if it is a new one, my books are all over 5 years old, lol, so i tell you what, a favour for a favour - if you really want one of these i may be able to help you out. i bought this one off my local market, it's only a small plant, so would be easy to post. they had loads of them last week when i bought it. living so close to London a lot of the local markets get plants from New covent garden wholesale market, everything comes in direct from holland so we are usually first to get anything new into the UK i think it was only about £2 - £3 to buy so if you like next time i go (proberly wednesday next week) i will see if she has anymore, and get one for you. i have no idea what it would cost to send to you, but it would be easy enough to find out if you send me your address on a private message. but i do sell on ebay in the uk quite a bit so i could wrap it up well enought to survive the journey. and i have a paypal account so it would be easy for you to send me what ever it costs to send to you. let me know if you would like me to try and get you one. regards Angela.

Hi Angela, muxh as I would love to see plants crossing the pond and ending up in our gardens stateside, the department of agriculture doesn't support such generosity. There are strict limitations on importation of plants and the dirt they come in. We cannot even drive potted plant, bulbs or anysuch thing over the border from Canada. Sorry to be a wet blanket.

Looks like Weigela 'My Monet'. It's a dwarf variety that gets 12 to 18 inches tall. I've been waiting for them to show up in the local nurseries around here for two years now !
