Daylily 'Desert Icicle' x 'Wind Frills'

This has such a lovely form shame it's on very low scapes and that chevron eye isn't clearer, flowers 6inch across, maybe not a keeper.

Moved to garden autumn 2015, to the right of pink hydrangea near phormium curved pond border.

I have both the parents

be ok at the front of a border with the short scapes ?

I wonder is the short scape from Desert iccicle and its not that big on mine ?

Desert Icicle should be 3' tall, and Wind Frills is just a little shorter. Sometimes you end up with a runt. Just remember, bad traits will be passed on, so give it a chance but make a note.
The form is really good, however.

I'l do that Wylie there are a few more from this cross so if any others are similar and taller this'll be heading your way Gg lol.
There's a nice one open today from this cross not something I'd have expected at all.
