yes, their so cute, and they peek out through the bigger plants to add that dash of blue.

Blue flowers (especially sky blue ones) really appeal to me... I have two in bloom at present...I planted a whole package of Forget-Me-Nots thinking they were the small waterloving type...but they are the taller ones and they seem a little out of place towering above the other plants but the blue is a wonderful punctuation mark...the other is the perennial lobelia... blue blue blue....love it!

There are three plants that have the little blue flowers...two are called Forget-Me-Not...and one is called Brunnera or Siberian Bugloss...the brunnera has large heartshaped leaves and the flowers come in early spring...small, pretty skyblue with yellow centres... the water f-m-n I planted beside the birdbath and it loved the dousing every time I changed the water... it forms small clumps and blooms in June... it can live at the waterside and doesn't mind it's roots being wet... I have a pic of it on my page, you may have to look for it though...it's back a few pages now.... the other I just planted a pkg of seed in May and it is 24" tall and blooming it's head off with slightly larger solid blue flowers... will take a pic of this and the brunnera a post them....so you can look at them...

end of season update on the seeds planted in May...they have pretty solid blue flowers (no yellow eyes) but the seeds are BURRS...they stick to anything even Mandy's fur...I've had to cut them out of her fur, and spent a happy hour trying to pluck the little stickers out of my pantlegs!!!
