I have buds on my orange one too Melchi, think the rain has brought them on a little quicker than usual, but Lucifer is always one of the first in my borders :O)

I liken these. I have the ordinary common-or-garden montbretia (as it used to be called). I noticed some buds on one yesterday. That seems quite early to me.
