They're very easy to pull out, also. When they got into the grass I would just mow them down. LOL!

It looks like that thing they call American Balsam. I think they belong to the same family.

It's common name is Kashmir Balsam Hywel. Closely related to the dreaded Himalayan Balsam (I.glandulifera) but not nearly as invasive.

Yes ... American Balsam was a sort of liniment my grandfather used to use lol I remember it now ... :D
