Back Patio Hydrangeas

Goodness! They are huge! :)

Wow!! they look amazing and all in pots, lovely colours :O)

Now, this has just reminded me. My friend's daughter did a project on hydrangeas at school, for her science class. She discovered that not all of them turn blue when fed with acid compost. Some of them just go a horrid muddy brown colour. I thought this was interesting and wondered if anyone knows which varieties do this?

They look wonderful, what and how often do you feed them?:-)
