I'd covered the pool to keep anything from falling in, especially anything that couldn't get out again (or puncture the sides trying to get out) - all I could find was a long s trip of bubble-wrap - I left a tiny gap at the sides for ventilation,b ut obviously not enough!
I'll have to try something else - wonder if net curtain would do? would cover and let air move at the same time

and it didn't take long, either - couple of days only. lol I did think of getting one of those self-contained pond fountains and putting it in the pool when i wasn't in it, that should keep the water moving! but that wouldn't protect the water from drop-ins.
