Thanks Lori me too, you've just reminded me I have a white one in the wood which isn't doing well and needs moving, must write that down on my never ending list before I forget lol.

It was not a good year for the white ones here either, Simbad. They have been much taller in years past but I think perhaps I interfered by cutting the weeds and tall grasses near them. I have a very tall, very thick growing grass which looks like bamboo, and is crowding the area where the thalictrum was thickest and most luxuriant in previous years. It's no contest...I love the thals. so next springs first cut will be very selective and careful. Their flowers are lovely things and the foliage is my fav. So pretty.
