there was a hose on a reel when I moved in, but I've foundit extremely annoying - the hose was wound the wrong way on the reel, meaning that I had to wind it back on backwards,w hich wasn't easy - and i had to pull out tons of it to reach the far corners, so it looped and tangled and kept getting caught round my ankles.
I have a small spiral hose, not found it yet, but got fed up of the reel hose that I bought these: one at Lidl and two at a local "Home Bargains" - they add up to 40 metres so that should damn well be enough - once I get them connected to each other and to the tap!

lol thanks. I'll ask the gardener to connect htem, he's streonger than me and knows what he's doing! the Lidl one even has a wall-mounted holder, not sure it'll hold the whole length, but there's plenty of wall to put further hooks. and then one day I mgith find the hose I brought with me

had a thought yesterday - I seem to remember that the single length of spiral hose that I had was also intensely annoying, as the coils got caught up in each other. And this will be three lengths! hm, I'll keep the hosereel to one side, just in case it turns out to be the lesser of two evils.

lol but now you've put the thought into my head, maybe I san look around for a younger, more supple gardener, and he can help me do one of my sheds as a boudoir!
