Those look really great! Nice petal separation.

All 3 from this cross, although totally different colours, are all developing this curling, love it.Know this one is very similar to 'Brer Rabbit's Baby' but I'll keep it anyway :-)

So true Gg ones I definitely wasn't keeping are now getting quite appealing lol!!
Seriously though there are a couple of crosses with 7 or 8 plants each and a lot are very similar so I'll only be keeping the best one from each, honest!!!

I wish I could say that :) There are several of Dreamy Blue Eyes x Xylophone, and each is very different and worth keeping. Today I could see on one how much it is developing, so I know I will keep all for at least another year.
Then I put 9 groups of seeds in bags, and there are another 9 drying for tomorrow.

I don't know how you decide which to grow!! with so many choices and every seedling you shown has been gorgeous!!!! I daren't think how many you have :-)

This one is so fertile think every spent flower has a pod developing I'd best cut them off as don't know what they've crossed with.

24 Jul, 2014

Even on my best plants, if it doesn't have a label, the pod goes.

25 Jul, 2014

Its funny you should say that, I've been removing pods from lots of self set ones but when I found a huge one of 'Jellyfish Jealousy' I admit I left it on, I haven't tried any crosses with that one, why!!!!

Give the seeds a try, if you have the room. DIPs have large numbers of seeds in a pod. Most of the time I get at least 15 seeds, and have had up to 40.

my JJ crosses from last year should flower in 2015

28 Jul, 2014

I think I will let them ripen and then decide :-), 40 seeds!!! Crikey that must be one massive pod.
What did you cross it with Gg?
I think I only have one more seedling that will flower this year now but it's a different one,the only one of 'Alison Sommers' x 'Angel Falls' with scapes this year, lots of buds :-)

I have a beehive only two feet away so next time I am all kitted up I will check but I have done proper labels so 100% sure with these. , I aint risking it as the flight path is right above the seedling bed lol
