Magnolia grandiflora 'Exmouth' - 2014 (Magnolia grandiflora 'Exmouth')

Large evergreen tree, growing up to sixty feet in the wild, but more usually seen growing against a south-facing wall in the UK. Large, lemon-scented flowers, each lasting only a few days, are produced over three or four months. 'Exmouth' has brown suede on the back of the leaves, and arguably the best scent.

oh, that's nice! and a tidy plant too, even catches the bits that fall out of the flowerhead!
