Plot 12A Oxalis 'Iron Cross' (Close up) from balcony in bed No 3 11-07-2014

Are these annuals? These came up in my garden only one time, and I never saw them again.

I have these for first time this year, bought as bulbs.. and doing great in front garden wall...

I bought them as tiny bulbs some years ago & I love them! At first I thought they were tender & brought them in for the winter but later I found they are hardy.

These were taken down to the allotment by mistake - they were hibernating at the time so I didn't realize they were in the pots!

I was looking t them again just yesterday & they are going great guns! :-)) I'm looking forward to seeing them flower agin on the allotment next year!

These are still looking very good & very healthy as well! :-)) The same plants on my balcony are not looking quite so healthy, strong or vigorous. Perhaps because they are more overcrowded & need more room. I took some photos of them a couple of days ago. When I can get this new operating system to function as it should & I get around to familiarizing myself more with it, I'll see about uploading some more photos - both of the plants on the balcony & the plants on the allotment.
