I'll take one for you Gg, this is a monster salvia, fully hardy and doesn't mind a bit of shade, I call it my fly catcher it's really sticky, the tiny black flies stick to it and can't escape !!!

Thanks Wylie, yes I do have a few, I grew some mixed Plantworld salvia seeds a few years ago and this one was among them, I managed to identify most from their seed catalogue.
I'll do it later Gg ;-)

I have a S, glutinosa, mine seems to be yellower. Every time I attend to it I get my long hair glued to it.

This is a bit yellower than its showing Siris its in quite a bit of shade so the cameras not picking up the colour well, it smells lovely too doesn't it mines near a path and when it first flowered I spent ages trying to figure out where this lovely scent was coming from :-)

Lol Meanie, think you have something in your soil that makes plants grow extra huge, your lobelia Tupa grew pretty big too, compared to mine anyway ;-), you need a whip and a chair to tame them lol.

My S.glutinosa is so rampant that if a long branch sags to the ground it roots and starts another plant off!

Oh heck I've never had that before!! mine are in quite a bit of shade though.

Just been to smell it, as i'v never noticed a scent before. Maybe slightly citrusy.
Ps didn't know they rooted from layered shoots. Seeds prolifically thought.
