Clethra barbinervis

Too bad the flowers hadn't opened yet but this is still a cool plant that I don't see often around here. It looks like a Sourwood tree in the fall and the bark looks like a Stewartia. Descriptions I've read said the flowers are not very fragrant but I have seen this in flower and you can smell the flowers from a distance.
