Leycesteria formosa - 2014

It may be common, and it may produce a lot of seedlings, but this is still a good shrub. For good soil in sun or part shade. In spring, it can be tidied or cut down hard (like a buddleia), and will still make six feet in a season.

We used to grow this, but decided the yellow leafed one was more attractive.
