Oh dear,what a shame..Most of mine finished flowering just before we went on holiday last week..good timing really..so disappointing though,when this happens..but how lovely it will smell in your home :o).

It sounds as though your OH is the same as mine..! (Either too strong,or doesn't like it..A peg on the nose,could be the answer ! Lol

I liked the cartoon I saw in the paper the other day. An old couple were in their garden looking up at the roof & he's saying "No, it's not a tile, it's a Cornish pastie."
Reminds me of the worst one I ever had& that was in Mousehole, Cornwall. So heavy, like a brick. Certainly couldn't blow onto a roof!

Those are beautiful HB, but such a shame the wind battered them, still ill winds and all that... My OH finds strong scented blooms make him sneeze. He says it's hay fever, I just tell him he's looking for attention lol! I love lilies, hyacinths, sweetpeas, in fact any strong scented flowers really.

What a lot of casualties, such a shame.
