Trailing (or not very trailing) Begonias

First time I've tried Begonia Tubers. They were supposed to be a deep red not the orangey red they turned out to be.

It's amazing just how different reds are Shirley. Especially in the plant world and it's usually not apparent until they are planted in the wrong place!

We have grown more Begonias this year, some are rather leggy, I think OH feeds them too much....

I had some I kept several years but the vine weevils finally snacked off them a bit too much and they failed. They were good while they lasted.

That's a shame Angie, I have just caught the end of a programme on Sissinghurst and the head gardener was saying how some reds are on the pink side, while others are on the orange side. Gets very confusing! I have never tried growing Begonias either.
