Thanks Alan: Yes, mainly the finches go after the seeds and the occasional Goldfinch which is a real treat to watch - - until a squirrel comes along and cuts down and runs off with the entire seed head.

A refreshing change from the sunflower with yellow petals. Paul, do you see any birds feeding on the seeds when the flowers die off ?
