Daylily - 'Blazing Saddles'

Definitely a WOW!! from me :-)

This was always open at the wrong time when it first bloomed. I kept using other flowers for crosses, but there are a couple of seeds from being crossed to Strikingly Dramatic.

It is breathtaking!

I keep an eye on the Lily Auction site to see what is happening with crosses, and this is one that isn't being used. I don't know why, but I like it enough to use.
