Another first year, FFO. Life is a Highway dominates everything it touches. This time I crossed it to the (Wild Horses x Heavy Metal) sdlg that is the smallest and creamiest of the group. The result is a 5.5" TET that looks like it will have pinched petals.

Glad you both like it. There is another flower today, just as nice.
It will take a couple of years before it can get a name. It can take 3 years to reach its full performance level. I have seen big improvements the second year a flower blooms - I have finally picked my favourite of the (Wild Horses x Heavy Metal) crosses, and it is now in its 3rd year. My plan right now is to start a series named after villages (Freguesias) starting with the one I live in - Altares.

Such a mission , Wylie .

The problem is that none start with D, E, H, or I. I need a poly for Quatro Ribeiras (Four Streams); and if something doesn't work out with using Moose Man, I cannot use Cinco Ribeiras. Forget Doze Ribeiras (12 Streams).

Another beauty.......
I can't wait to see which will be your first registration, with so many that are way better than a lot of registered varieties I just don't know how you'll choose :-)

You know the problem with these flowers ... it is the best one ever, until the next new one opens. The one I am posting today (Blue Eyed Bandit x Life is a Highway) really stunned me. I am afraid this may be the last year of easy choices on which to keep and which to trash.
