A friend had bought this while it was in flower. It grew a bunch of pups that didn't do anything, so he gave it to me. I put it in shade, and it flowered. Since it flowers only once, I then took the pups that were there and planted them in my woods. Now this has been flowering for several weeks. It is among some small palm type plants that are normally used as house plants, but grow well outside here.
