Quiet river.

Katarina, lovely photograph. I notice you still have nice blue skies. We haven't seen much blue sky in August, well not in the NW of England anyway.

Hi Alan, I think we have the same weather. This photo was made on one and only afternoon from my three day trip. Rest of it was pouring rain.
This year is incredibly cold and rainy August also in our dry climate . I cannot remember August, in which it wasn´t possible to go for swimming in lakes, like this year.

It is near Prague, e.g. 300 km from me. I was there for historical trip last week.

Well, one day it was not raining, so it was a lucky day.

I've just remembered that there's a river not far away from me, not as pretty as this, but a lot prettier than the bit of the Thames that goes through the East End! I should venture out with my camera some day
