They're almost like flowers made of wax! Can be a bugger to photograph on a sunny day.

Love this one, they do look like wax Meanie....

The flowers are the smallest of the F.magellanica cultivars DD. Totally hardy too.

Might look good in our tropical area perhaps!

I really like the dwarf ones. Very good-looking plant!

I like the simple looking ones. Being dwarf makes this ideal for the spot.

At least you can grow yours in full sun. Here they need protection from the sun or they'll completely burn up.

DD - I missed your comment about the tropical idea. I think that it would apart from our mindset about Fuchsia being a cottage garden plant. I'm going to stick a Triphylla group Fuchsia in mine next year which may be a better choice.

Delonix - much as they grow in full sun here many do not perform so well.

I would guess they would do so well there in sun. You very rarely get temps above 100ºF (38ºC) there, right?
