It's a nice wee thing that rapidly multiplies and fills the pot.

Yes, I know...I've grown this plant before. It grows as a groundcover here.

That figures. Nice ground cover!!

I've posted photos in the past of this plant as a ground cover. It appears to be very drought tolerant in the ground.

It's drought tolerant in a pot too. It's a popular choice amongst succulent collectors.

Yes, very easy and drought tolerant. That's a good combinations for here with our extreme drought and hot weather. We're heading into one of the worst heatwaves of this whole year starting today...temps will be up to 108ºF (43ºC) and lasting 5 - 7 days. HORRIBLE!!!

I've not experienced that much warmth since Oz!

Well, you're lucky you are not here! It's 1:00 a.m. and it's still sweltering hot and humid! Even with my a/c on full blast it's still 85ºF (29ºC) in my house. Today the high temps are forecasted inland to be between 104 - 110ºF (40 - 43.3ºC). There's heat advisories and excessive heat warnings for all of SoCal.
What's was so amazing yesterday when our football team (SD Chargers) was playing at Qualcom Stadium the field temp was 120ºF (48.9ºC). Can you imagine having to play football (American) in that heat? I don't know how those players didn't get heatstroke.
