Yes, correct Siris, having grown this for well over 40 years, only found out on Instagram what its correct name was, and then Kathy put hers on, so I found out twice!!

Karen if we get any more flowers will save you some seed, they do not last very long especially in the heat....but Kathy has some as well, so could be belt and braces!!

My yellow Meconopsis (welsh Poppy) has smooth seed heads, my double orange have a crinkled seed head as in your photo, that must be an identifying difference.

I always thought this was a double orange Welsh poppy, now I know it's a Spanish one, a Papaver not a Meconopsis.
