A Bistort with reddish leaves and tiny white flowers. Still in pot, for sun or partial shade. Saw this first in dottydaisey's garden.

Quoted on the label as 30" , Dds was twice that height, which is what I want.

I must look at Dds picture mines never got that tall it usually starts to trail a bit, then again it wasn't in the perfect spot it looks a bit taller this year, I've another that I had to move to with a nice patterned leaf, name escapes me at the minute.
