American Robin (Turdus Migratorius) fattening up as he prepares for his journey south in search of better food sources and warmer climates. They usually winter over anywhere south of Virginia.

Apparently they go away to moult but I think some migrate for a while.

These guys will be leaving us soon. By around mid-October they will all be gone until April.
