Is this growing outside! With Caster Oil Plant? Too cold here in UK for leaving out!

I'm going to dig up the bulbs and store them indoors!
Castor oil plant is treated as annual in SW of France. Winter down there is not hot enough for it. But they'll self-seed every year. Easy and eye-catching plant to have :-)

We keep our Acidanthera in pots and take them in to overwinter, think you're wise to do the same.

I think so too.
I don't want to risk it; I mean, loose them.

It's nice to find other Acidanthera lovers. I positively adore them and just yesterday I lifted the bulbs. I replant every spring and they are the most wonderfully scented flowers. They compete with the Bouncing Bette that grows outside my bedroom window..in high summer the waft is heavenly.

I didn't notice this flower had a sweet scent. You've already lifted the bulbs? I think mines are still blooming. I'm going to check it out next week!

Lori, my Acidantheras are still flowering :-)
I put my nose close to the flowers and they do have some scent, but the scent of mine isn't that strong for some reason.
